Called the non-emergency number in order to get some guidance on a sticky subject. The customer service and human element is lacking, to put it delicately. They are unwilling to answer questions or talk to you like you're a person. They definitely need to retrain whomever answers the phones and deals with calls. Or they need new staff who care about the public and their community.nnNo help and unwilling to listen or speak empathetically. Thanks FWPD.

The rude and negative attitudes of most of the officers and non-emergency dispatchers, outshine the few officers that actually care about the citizens of Fort Wayne. It is hard to get the public’s respect when they lack common courtesy for the citizens.

I witness to police negligence at an accident on dewald Street next to St Pats yesterday. The officer, although he was a first responder did not do proper CPR and would not allow anyone else to do proper CPR on an unconscious man. Get it together Fort Wayne!
