My three boys attend school here and not only do I love it but they love it as well. If you are looking for an alternative to public school that nurtures your child’s head, heart and hands this is the place. Windows on Waldorf is an amazing way to check out the school and see how the children are learning!

We couldn't be happier about moving to the state of Oregon to attend this lovely school. We experienced public schooling with our four children, before we learned about Waldorf. We loved the idea that the whole child is educated (hands, head, and heart,) and are amazed by how the curriculum does this so beautifully. The kids learn to think in freedom, paint, move, sculpt, carve, sing, and are surrounded by so much beauty everyday. Amazing teachers and teacher training staff. Beautiful community. Sibling discount a bonus!

I highly recommend this school. It is everything I want to give my child. The teachers are the best one could find—highly experienced and wonderful all around. Part of this excellence of the teachers arises from the fact that on the same campus is a Waldorf Teacher Training program. So whenever there is a teacher opening, only the very best are chosen. All of the teachers are Waldorf certified, which is not true of all Waldorf schools. The children at this school are received for who they really are. Their gifts are nurtured and they are taught a basic old-fashioned respect for other beings. They are given so many invaluable tools at this school that will nourish them through their lives. Each child here will develop her or his own unique voice and be able to contribute that voice to shaping the world. Each child learns how to play music, sing, move (in eurythmy training), act, paint, draw, knit, sew and use their hands. They are better prepared academically for high school and college than most children in public schools. But beyond that, the creative skills they acquire and the myriad ways their imaginations are fostered will serve them their whole lives. I cannot say enough good things about this school.

Our daughter who is now in 3rd grade has been going to Waldorf since Pre-School and we continue to find the teachers, environment and curriculum to be such a blessing in our daily lives. The pedagogy is so well balanced in meeting the children's needs through their various stages of development, guiding them to develop healthy social interactions, and offering a strong foundation for academic success, though via interdisciplinary approaches to subject matter and different timing than most public schools. It also helps that the teachers essentially play the role of administrators via a governing council, so those who know the children from daily interactions can make the important decisions about what is in their best interests. Love of nature and humanitarian values are fostered as well, without becoming preachy or favoring a singular religion's moral precepts. If you are seeking an education that supports the development of your whole child (mind, hands and heart), then be sure to visit. It's truly a wonderful way to raise a healthy and happy child!

My children love this school. My eldest is graduating this year and has gained so much from his time at the school on all levels: deep relationships, patient teaching, spiraling education (learning elements based on the level of maturity in each grade), amazing surroundings and interactivity between grades.
