This village is well organized. Tour guides are with you to explain all about early times and how the settlement started.

What a great place to spend the day. I especially enjoyed the cheese house.

Today we visited with a 5 yr old and a 4 yr old. They loved it so much. Char did a wonderful job of relating things to the 2 little ones. They especially liked bringing the school bell. Char was very knowledgeable and we learned so much! Thank you for a great day!!

They have a very interesting and fun tour of their collection of early settlement homes from the area. The tour is a hands on experience that was fun for the kids and adults. They provided transportation to and from each building. And they also had accessibility ramps at most buildings.nnLastly they had a museum near the gift shop that told the story of the town (All items were donations from locals). This was also very interesting to see how the Swiss lineage shaped the culture of the town.

This is a fascinating place to learn about early Indiana settlers and Swiss culture. Char is an outstanding docent.
