Wayne County Historical Museum

I've lived around the world, and this museum has to be one of my favorites! It's literally got a little bit of everything - and a heck of a lot to see! They do a spectacular job with the displays, and there's everything from Samurai swords, to a plane, to a mummy, to one of a kind cars, items etc etc...Handicap accessible, and you'll need about 2 hours. Get there as fast as you can and thank me later!

My daughter and 4 grandchildren went to the museum today after a Grandparents Day lunch. Sydney, our hostess and all the volunteers and staff maintain a very special place and should be commended! Halloween decorations and activities are in place and enhanced the fun. Wayne County should be proud.

This is one of the best county museums that I have visited around the country. The museum has nice displays not just artifacts and stories. There is also a small pioneer village outside. I loved to see the old cars included here also. The city street display was amazing and a bonus. The displays here represent a part of American history not just Wayne County. Thanks for maintaining such a wonderful museum.
