Beautiful, historical, vessel. Gift shop is Clean, well stocked with items you can purchase as a lasting reminder of your tour of the ship. Kind, friendly staff through out! The new building is very classy and situated with vast views of the ship and the Majestic Ohio River. Outside decks offer greater views in good weather! Keep it up. Great asset to out growing downtown!
First, I must offer a disclaimer because I now Volunteer here... But, my appreciation for all this Vessel represents grows each and every moment I share with her and everyone else I interact with aboard. Be they visitors or currently Members of the Memorial, everyone has contributed so very much to not only myself, but the collective Soul of the Ship which is why she is so Important not only to me, but everyone else that cherishes the precious Freedom we often take for granted.
Excellent place to see a historic WWII vehicle. Tour guide was exceptional and being on the same deck as our sailors and soldiers were on was a great opportunity we were thankful for getting to experience. Definitely worth it.
We had an absolute blast with our kids! This was a amazing tour hosted by a Amazing Tour Guide ! Collin Walters was an absolute blast very funny, interesting info , and very great with the kids! I highly recommend this place and Him as ur tour guide❤ufe0f❤ufe0f Thank you for a amazing experience!
We are on vacation from Nashville Tn so this a legit last minute visit tour. I’ve never been active in any military service and frankly know noting about it. However this was very informative tour. Our tour guide Paul midle (hope that’s correct) was so cool. He let my 6 year old son help with the tour. It really put a smile on his face.nIf you haven’t been, just go. Really worth it. Just bring water because it’s warm in the summer months.
