Nice, quiet trail with fern ground cover and beautiful doug fir canopy. Moderate uphill hike at beginning of trail. Gradual downhill grade on south fork of trail that eventually reaches the lake. Return has a degree of gradual uphill parts but not bad. Enjoyed hike very much.
Nice trail to hike. Even with the kiddos.
Nice 4 mile hike around through the forest..not too strenuous.
We hiked thru huge mossy evergreens, toward the lake. Great views of lake. Campground near trail. Nice loop trail .
We did the Hobbitt trail..it is a pretty easy trek down the trail, and you end up right on the beach and ocean ...it is so beautiful down there and a slightly more intense walk up the hill. .but still pretty easy.... if I can do it..so can you !! It is only a 1/2 trail botth ways... well worth it..
