My oldest is a WWII nut! I knew he’d love this place and was right. He smiled the whole time.nnWhen we first walked in, a gentleman showed us around. He was very thorough and took his time explaining the exhibits. He explained how a lot of old military equipment was buried on the property and how they are slowing unearthing it.nnI thought this would be a quick trip but he made it worth our drive. My kids learned so much and talked about it the whole way home.

Small but nice museum commemorating the WW2 history of Freeman Field.

This place was awesome. Being a history buff it was right up my alley. The volunteers were very knowledgeable and helpful. They are only open on Saturdays from 10.00 am to 1.00 pm .Its free but they do take donations ..

Amazing WW2 Museum tucked away next to the airfield! Open weekends and a must see, especially with free admission. Donations are accepted and tax deductible.

This local museum is really worth your time. As a lifetime pilot and Having learned to fly at Freeman field in 1962 I enjoy stopping out here. You will usually find coffee and donuts on a Saturday morning and very friendly people to tell you about the history of our airport and the impact it had on winning World War II.nI am very proud of all the local people who have supported and made this little Museum possible.nYou can see the fire truck that my wife's father used to drive during the war .nA great place to spend two or three hours. Bring the grandchildren and see a piece of History. Stephen White
