Penn Station East Coast Subs

I love Penn Station, or rather, I love the Philly steak sandwich. ud83eudd24 However on this visit the staff was visible upset that we didn't have a to go order. At the time we didn't realize it was closing time and the staff was ready to go home. In retrospect it all made sense, we were rushed through our order. we were asked if we wanted more tea, because they wanted to clean the urn. We were also told they didn't have any ketchup, perhaps because the dispenser was already cleaned. My sandwich came without onions even though I only asked for the mushrooms to be left off. I also wouldn't have ordered fries if I'd known condiments were not available. Just bad service at a place I regularly enjoy.

The food is made fresh at time of order. The large order of fries is good for 5 people btw

I’ve gotten lunch here many, many times. The owner is a super nice guy. The staff are always friendly, and the food is always delicious (You HAVE to try the lemonade!). If you come in often enough, they’ll even remember your name. Mobile ordering makes it easy to grab your food on the go, and you can earn points towards free food if you scan your rewards each time. I highly recommend this place for a good bite to eat!

Sandwich wasn’t what I expected. Will try again and hope for a fresher sandwich
