Some of the washing machines don’t complete the spin cycle, leaving your clothes dripping wet. The dryers were recently changed from $.25 for 5 minutes to $.25 for 4 minutes, when I have been to other laundromats nearby that offer $.25 for up to 7 minutes. The place is usually clean, has a restroom and seating.nnOne week ago I placed my original review, since then they've raised the price of a wash cycle from $1.50 to $2.50. I understand some businesses are hurting, with Covid-19 as well as the economy in general, but it is rare to see this building unoccupied.
Thank you for being the ONLY laundry mat in Plainfield!!! Not everyone owns a washer or dryer for crying out loud.
This laundromat is a historical location in Plainfield. When I didn't own a washer and dryer this is the place I went. Open 24 hours and surveillanced. Usually busy in the day time I recommend washing clothes at night. I highly recommend Quaker Laundromat
We have been going to Quaker Laundry for several years now because the one we were going to closed. We hated to go there because it was dirty an bugs every where. Then Larry took over clearing an managing the place and there was a 100% change in the building inside an out pluse you very seldom see any bugs an when you do you just let Larry know an he will take care of it right away, now we hate to go anywhere else. Thank you Larry.n.
Look I know things are a bit rough atm but come on 4 minutes of drying time for each quarter I rather go somewhere else!!!
