Cumberland Police Department

I was stopped by a very respectful Cumberland LEO tonight for being by an unopen store. He was straight to the point and no BS but was respectful and decently friendly about it. Once he knew we weren't out to cause any harm he let us on our way with no issues or hassles. Cumberland definitely has some good officers. Y'all be safe out there.

I value law enforcement and appreciate the sacrifices that officers face every day. They face loosing their lives at the hands of criminals, leaving their families lost and alone. They face tireless nights and long shifts to serve and protect our lives and the lives we love and hold dear...why, because they chose to do this! They are selfless and fight for justice. However, the problem that I have today was that when I needed help, when I had I an emergency, I was told that the Cumberland Police Department couldn’t help me. I was told to try somewhere else. I was turned away with no other resources. I know officers of this department. These same officers have helped me in the past. Yet today, a woman by the name of Megan so rudely represented the Cumberland Police Department. She continually turned me away when I needed help and refused to provide me with any other resources. I had a life threatening emergency I was dealing with and she simply refused to provide any emergency services. I’m disappointed to say the least and although I know this post won’t do anything or go anywhere, I do hope that someone from the department sees it and addresses the issue directly. Look for my formal complaint Megan, it’s coming.

A bunch of Barney Fife cops. How do you give someone a warning then 7 months file it as a ticket? Trying to keep your quotas up huh? And just screwing people (who made an honest mistake and even was given a warning when an officer pulled me over 7 months prior to filing it as a ticket) in the process? I didnt sign anything so I dont see how you were able to file it as a ticket? Is that fraud? SHAME ON YOU!

One of your officers today came to Speedway treated me like I'm a criminal when the employees at speedway took money off my card!!My husband and I had our children with us..we we're followed home by this officer there wasn't any probable cause I just wanted my gas ..And you treat people the way you do..alot of people don't respect officers because some of you abuse there authority going ABOVE THE LAW!!The officer renamed my plates YES ERVERYTHING WAS CORRECT!!I dfidnt feel safe I told my husba nd to drive to a Hartman Villiage where I have an uncle th at a sheriff ..the officer was upset with me because I told him the we are getting radical profiled..I hope I don't get harrashed I live in the Town Of Cumberland..Please correct your officers!
