Silver Hills Historical Nature Trail & Wildlife Sanctuary

This place is amazing, really enjoyed ourselves, not really for very young children especially when wet. It was a little more experience required for a 1 year old. Has history and the scenery is beautiful. A great chance for beautiful pictures. Quiet, peaceful, hike. Just a word of advice if it rained the day before it is very slippery. My favorite part of the trail is definitely Beaver Hill.

Nice trail to walk with informative signs explaining the history of the trail. The trail conveniently loops back around to the start as well.

Neat trail for the New Albany history you can learn along the way. Wish it was longer some places are very slick if it is wet out.

This is a very nice short trail with a lot of cool history behind it.

Really enjoyed this little trail in New Albany. Very peaceful and quiet with lots of information about the old trolley. Hike was not strenuous, and makes a nice loop. Be aware of roots coming out of the ground though, I tripped after getting my foot caught in one and twisted my ankle pretty badly.
