Daviess County Museum

Great exhibits, informative staff, invokes great memories and history!

Really great place to go. A lot of history in our county. A funeral exhibit is really fun to tour, and the old class room interests me if you like pics of pres Lincoln then go to this museum they have one of the best ones I've seen.nLoved seeing the native artifacts and the Victorian style clothing.nIt was actually the best small scale museum I have seen when it comes to content and in my opinion is far superior to the neighboring Dubois museum.

If you haven't been to the museum in awhile, please go! It's completely different. Better. Amazing people who are knowledgeable and friendly. They have worked very hard to get it where it is today!!!

Very nice, much more than expected. Lot of good artifacts, school and funeral history, very nice.

What a great gem, the history of Daviess County is so diverse, I had no idea. Learned so much, use to spend my summers in Plainville, was great to see the whole county represented.
