I have two children who attend Community Montessori. I have been a Montessori parent for 8 years now. It makes me feel proud to say that my children go to this school. The staff at the school are always friendly and welcoming. There has never been a time where they have not gone above and beyond to help me or to help my children.nnMy children have been excited to go to school each day and enjoy learning using all of the materials that Community Montessori offers in class. Their teachers have always made sure to take the time to get to know the children and help them learn and grow.nnWe really feel like we are part of our children's learning community and involved in their school lives.

We have two sons, one of whom has learning disabilities, and have had a great experience at CM. Teachers and staff have always been responsible, agreeable to our requests or needs, and timely in their communication. CM and teachers/ staff have also risen to the needs of our son who has the learning disabilities in all required ways- plus much more. I think a lot of what people experience with this school community depends on the philosophies and attitudes they bring to the table. That said, I don’t believe in “perfect” schools so I don’t doubt that some have had experiences that weren’t as good as they could be. I’d just encourage families to experience the school for themselves on a tour, ask questions, and see if it is the right fit for them. The teachers and staff are exceptional at their jobs and it is just as likely that a child will get an exceptional education here as it is anywhere else. Though I also feel we have many exceptional traditional public schools and am in no way knocking them! This school has been the right choice for our family, though, given the commitment to fostering a love of learning, working with each child where they’re at, and an open dialogue about any child’s needs.

Our experience at Community Montessori has been outstanding! My children are thriving there and we feel incredibly fortunate to have such a progressive and effective educational institution available to us.

We have been part of Community Montessori since my children started school (pre-K and K) and they are currently in 7th and 10th grade. We have been extremely happy with our choice in selecting a non traditional school experience. Not only does learning happen everywhere in their school day (and encouraged outside of school hours), they are loved and respected as humans. The learning also goes beyond your traditional school subjects and again teaches our children to be helpers, kind and accepting members of society. The teachers go above and beyond and we are so thankful to them.
