Henryville Elementary School

My daughter attended K-5th grade here. We really enjoyed it and miss all of our Henryville friends. The teachers and staff are amazing.

My school went to a guard competion held there and the school was very inclusive to the LGBTQ+ community. They had whole walls painted with the pride flag, I think it's great for kids to learn that everyone should be treated equal at such a young age.

Watched the March 2012 tornado it was bad but what I heard was worse from the principal stating at 10am they was warned and it took till 35 minutes from time tornado hit to start evacuating the kids which should have started at 10am when they started getting the alarming news with kids you just don't take chances in 3 to 4 hours they could have been somewhere safe I sure hope u all do better the next time

I've had foster children and grandchildren go to this school and I just love the staff and bus drivers

Teachers and staff care about the whole student and family, not just the educational component.
