The teachers at this school are great! The school maintains you updated on their activities. They connect with the Hispanic parents as well. Honestly there is so much I can say about this school. I just really think it's built up of great people who care.

I used to go there. Bullying isn't handled well and is commonplace. Some of the teachers don't work well with kids and honestly barely know what they're doing. From experience, I can say some of the teachers are really nit-picky and will fail children for the smallest mistake. Teachers tend to play favorites (from experience), and it's not very good for the kids at the lower end of the spectrum. If you have the option to send your children somewhere else, please do so. I had a fifth grade teacher who was certainly...disturbing. I always felt like they were hiding something from us and, although they were qualified, I just never felt really comfortable around them. I never, ever felt safe at the school and suggest you don't send your kids there if there's another school or home school as an option. However, I have to give praise to the administration. From personal experience, the principal and counselor are very good with kids and get along with them very well. They're open minded and caring people, and are hardly strict. That's really all the praise I have for this school, most of the teachers are close-minded and often were uncomfortable with me and my opinions. All I have to say for them is get over it and learn to be more understanding.

I was a student here from the 3rd grade, the year the school opened, and my years as a pirate are among my favorite memories.
