They work hard and do their jobs professional and they are so nice every time I talked to them.

dont seem to care about the rights of citizens and feel they are above the law

The Columbus police department have saved my life on more than one occasion. I'm very grateful to them.

We have an amazing police department. I recently took the Citizens Academy and hold our local law enforcement in the highest regard. I have read many of the negative reviews and it is sad. If you had a bad experience, realize that you have no idea what these officers go through on a daily basis. Their lives are legitimately on the line every single day. That's not just a cliche saying, it's the truth. No one realizes how much they do for us, even if you never interact with them. We live in an above average safe city and I am thankful for all they do. I urge you to one, think about what they go through when you are interacting with them, and two, take the citizens academy. It's not only free, it's fun and informative!
