As a parent - I dread public schools. And I did not initially choose Nava Elementary for my son. However, the years that he has spent at Nava have been great!! He has had fantastic teachers who know him and work with him. I feel that he has an interactive and supportive educational staff that will give him the best support in his beginning school years.
I absolutely love this school. The teachers know my kid by name. His third grad teacher, Ms. Rachel Florez was awesome and really did reinforce positive behaviors with my son. Homework was challenging and I felt like my kid left 3rd grade a smarter student. Even the other teachers, Ms. Jackie, Ms. Long who taught him from grade 1 through 2 were very good.There is an after are teacher, Mr. Rodriguez who knows all the kids by name. This gives me comfort that if any child were to go missing, they will know in an instant, and this makes a huge difference. Way to go Nava!
As a student I have gone to Nava for five year's. I loved every teacher I have had. Thay pushed me to be a beter student.
I ATTENDED THIS SCHOOL AND NOW MY SON STARTED PRE-K HERE IT IS SUCH AN AWESOME SCHOOL MY SON HAD MS.MONICA BRUGER HAS HIS TEACHER THIS YEAR SHE IS SO GOOD WITH THE KIDS AND SHE IS GOOD ABOUT KEEPING THE PARENTS INVOLVED WITH EVERYTHING I AM VERY THANKFUL FOR THIS SCHOOL AND WOULD SUGGEST IT TO ANY ONE.
I love this school no problems my kids have been there since they were in kinder and they all graduated from there I currently have a girl in fifth grade and I hope she stays there
