Fair Lawn Econo Wash Laundromat

I love this place! Cheryl is an absolute sweetheart. She was so kind to me and my 5 month old son and provided me with great conversation while we both did our laundry. I usually dread going to the laundromat and will put it off for as long as possible. I now have something to look forward to when I go! Her boss (who I’m assuming is the owner but I could be wrong) was also very kind and you can tell he takes great pride in his business. The machines are big, I was able to fit a California king comforter and a sheet set together in one. The people who come in are also so nice and happy! I had a great experience. ALSO, since I came here looking for this exact question... they do have a coin machine inside to get quarters for the machines :)

I must say that this is THE best laundromat in the area. I have used it for about 4 years now, both for wash fold and dry, as well as the machines. The best part of the experience is one attendant in particular (Cheryl). She once helped me jump my car when it would not start, but that is besides the point. I have never seen anybody do so much quality work in such a short period of time. I know she also will pick up clothes from one elderly customer at her house, and drop it off. She is one in a million.nnThe owner keeps the machines going and is a nice man. Like I said, best by far in the area. Compare it to Ridgewood if you want. You will see a big difference.

I’ve used this facility often. Generally it isn’t clean but today was filthy. The attendant working had no mask on. 3 of the 4 other folks using the machines had no mask on either. The attendant spent most of her time on a personal call speaking loudly and using profanities. I observed her take a bed comforter from a washer and 3 edges of it drug across the floor on the way to the dryer. I also noticed as she was folding other peoples cloths several times she wiped her eyes, mouth, and nose while she continued to fold and bag. The usual attendant I see on week days always is masked and polite. The washing machine I started to use as first had a very wet/sour smell. I have tried a few other local places but this is the closest to me but I can’t justify going back there on a weekend again.
