Cute little nature park with walking trails and views of the river. It's really small so dont expect a lot lol

Amazing walking paths and easy access to riverfront

Again near my home so I walk it almost daily. You feel like your away from everything walking in this park and when you get close to the outer parts the views are beautiful.

Calling this a park is kind of a stretch. It's an empty large log next to the wastewater treatment plant, it encompasses a cliff face overlooking the old Boise Cascade lot, which is now itself an empty paved lot you can walk around in down to the river. The two are next to each other, but technically Nob Hill is just the treed area. There is one path that loops through the 'park'. It might be a mile if you stretched it all the way out, not sure.nnIf you happen to go at a time when the couple who pushed the city to make this an official park are there doing trail maintenance, they may harrass you about leashing your dog. Otherwise, you rarely run into anyone. Which is nice.nnAnd if you're into finding nature in urban settings, like me, you can find some interesting things. Trillium, camas, chocolate lily, and other wildflowers can be found in season. Because you're across from the wastewater treatment plant, you can find wildlife, mostly birds, associated with that area. It's good for gulls and waterfowl in the winter.nnThere's not much in the way of parking. If you go down 3rd street, there's a bit of parking near someone's home. There used to be a nice old gentleman that live there, he was very chatty. Not sure if he still lives. There may be parking down at the end of 4th street too, not sure. I used to park in the pull off area across from the sewage plant, because I didn't know until later that there was other parking. No one ever said anything to me, but since it's not official parking, I can't suggest it.nnFrom the top of the cliff in Nob Hill Park, you can look across the old Boise lot, and there is a trail that will let you walk down and access it, and THAT is a nice and interesting and very pretty walk along the river (look for river otter, osprey, bald eagle, and purple martins in season), but that's not technically part of Nob Hill, so I won't say more about that here.
