While the museum is open, the planetarium and other theater exhibits are currently closed. There are still many wonderful exhibits to enjoy!

The Rose Center is a huge expansion of what was only the Hayden Planetarium of my childhood. Even back then it was well worth the time to visit this amazing place, to be able to travel back through space and time in their Science Show, but now with its magnificent expansion it has become a truly full-day Affair for both adults and children and should be heavily considered in any trip to New York City
You should really take the time to read and soak in all the information provided here. It is super fascinating to put things into perspective and try to understand the incomprehensible just a little more with the help of diagrams and models and everything. Super cool I loved it.
Ok ok, if you have never been here before I highly recommend you try, it just once. Please plan your day accordingly. The museum is huge and fill with a lot of interactive and interesting things. Good for a family day out.
