Tried to have a custom door made at three different HomeDepot locations, it was like jumping high walls. Finally I tried Ace Hardware store, Tali the manager took care of it. She knows precisely how to write the spec and had the shop put it together within short time. It fit beautifully in my apartment. There is nothing like a well run neighborhood hardware store that has wide knowledge, good referrals and reliable connections. Most importantly, it is personable and helpful. Thanks Tali!

The employee who helped me with the paint was great. The reason you go to a brick and mortar store. However, the manager was so flippant. I saw a sign for 20% sale for tomorrow and I ask if it's possible I could use it today so I don't have to walk back with my two children and she said no. I guess 20% is more important than a repeat customer.

It is just a bummer that they are not open on Saturdays. Otherwise, I love this place

These guys are the best! always helpful and knowledgeable on every subject. Helped us do a great Covid home improvement project which was a metal spice rack, cutting the metal for us, giving advice ... Have gone to them for years and years and they are simply the best
