To me this place is not just a regular hardware store ... the Staff is extremely knowledgeable about everything from plumbing, electric, locksmith etc. level of expertise is impressive.nOn several occasions I was “stuck” in some self attempted home projects... and he helped me not by just giving me verbal advice but also by taking his time and actually creating parts for me from other scrap parts to make things fit and work. ( saved me lots of money by not having to call a locksmith )nnHighly recommended !

Helpful, honest and convenient. They're not as cheap as HomeDepot or Amazon but genuinely feels better to give your money to people in the community.

It gets five stars for being a terrific neighborhood hardware store, Manhattan-style. It’s cramped and you need to ask the friendly and knowledgeable staff if you want to find anything, but it has almost everything you need. Non-NYers will be shocked to see a hardware store get five stars even though it’s so small compared to the monster chain stores of suburbia, but you have to shop here to understand.
