I pulled both of my kids from this school in 2014. The bullying was heartbreaking. Spooner the Principal created more damage and heartache in his poor handling of the situation. Hot lunches here are full of fat and sugar. They don't allow children to leave table to use drinking fountain during lunch. At recess they are not allowed to play on grass or leave blacktop. Insane! Too much emphasis on teaching to the test as well. Not enough time outdoors for kids. Beautiful campus, too bad it was such a negative experience. My kids are THRIVING in their new school. Testing off the charts and NO BULLYING.

Scouter mountain elementary is such a great school. The staff is amazing, very kind and friendly, my kids love going here. Everything is very well organized, they do a great job every day.

Scouters is a great school! Mr Spooner the principle is on top of it and caring. The school is proactive and engaged. Mrs. Wheeler is awesome with my child and has leveraged his strengths!

My children went there for 3 years. If you only care about field trips then you might like this school. The Extreme teacher favoritism is disgraceful! To top off the fun Principal Spooner is more concerned about his staff then the children. There are some good staff, Lori in the office is Amazing! The bad out weighed the good. I pulled my kids out this year & they're thriving at their new school! I recommend choosing a different school.

I love this school it’s going good and like mrs combs and ms. Devery are good teaching teachers plus I love the lunch they serve out
