Bergenfield Police Department

My wife just took a ticket that it cost $230 and the ticket about “ Fail to stop for pedestrians” ON A GREEN LIGHT and red which stop for people who cross the roadnThe man literally was running to cross and it was red for him and green for us and WE STILL TOOK THE ticketnBergenfield police need to be more knowledgeable about laws in the city and its not the first time to be stopped or get a ticket out of no where just for the police to reach their qouta !

We habe our barrier free meetings at the. Building. Had one 19nov18nThere going to build a new one some day.

If I have an option to give zero I will much willing to give for this officer. Today February 20,2018 at 8:52 am coming from work going home to Tenafly we have to pass a road work right knickerbocker st., from the first stop there was a sign going to left but on the second stop there was a police officer but there was no SIGN as to here you go either left or right so I asked the police officer and signal my ha d which way since it creates confusion instead of just doing a hand signal he shouted and give us a mad look. We wer shocked with his reaction to the situation even my kids who are 6 and 8 who are In stillman elementary school reacted and said, “aren’t police officer nice and calm?”. Indeed aren’t they supposed to be helpful instead and be smart enough that they created confusion to the community who live next town? I always support the men in blue uniform especially our officers in Tenafly but damn an officer from Bergenfield such an unfortunate where he is to be assigned. He shouldn’t be in that department because Bergenfield is one of the best communities in Nj. I would recommend a psychological test for him
