they have good bread
I've lived about a mile from this museum for 25 years, yet I had never visited it. I finally did this last weekend during the Fall Harvest Festival held on the museum grounds.nnThis is well worth a visit. As one of the oldest houses in the area, it provides a fascinating glimpse of life in the 18th, 19th and early 20th centuries. It has an interesting collection of furniture and household objects from these periods, many original to the house.nnThey also have special demonstrations of spinning, lace-making and blacksmithing during the year. Check their website for details.
My son loves it and we love it too. You don't have to be a history buff to enjoy the historical society.
