I love this school
My name is Randall Perkins. I went to this school in the late 70's. I wasn't the best student nor was I the most cooperative and nice student that ever graced the halls at Riverside elementary. Actually I was a bully to some and bullied by others. However I can say with all honesty that if it wasn't for the teachers who cared to never give up on me to the principal who took so much time out of his life to help guide me in the direction of doing things in a proactive and non detrimental way. If not for Chuck Hoffman or Mr. Wong or Mrs. Carlton I wouldn't have made it thru those years or beyond into the military and the special forces thru the war (desert storm). These staff members are no longer there to my knowlage but if this school is anything close to what it used to be this is a place any parent would want their child to go to. They will strive for excellence and succeed in every endeavor they partake in with what they learn here. If any of the staff see this and remember the Perkins twins I want them to know I haven't forgotten them and all they did for me. Even after all the great I caused I thank you all for not giving up on me.
