Fascinating history. For a place where there was a massacre, it is very peaceful. I suppose the souls must be at rest knowing the Patriots won the war. Definitely recommend stopping by.

Great historical house to visit. The tour guide was a very nice guy. He even opened the cabin for us to see right before the place closed. Very cool. ud83dudc4dud83dude0e

Very educational (though tragic) historic site, so I'm giving it five stars, but no stars for the website, which lists events from 2017. Who is supposed to be updating this site? They're only two years behind. Since apparently no one is publicizing the upcoming annual ice cream social and concert on Sunday, June 23, 2019, I guess I'll do it. It's a great, fun event, with delicious homemade vanilla ice cream and toppings. Starts around 2 p.m. with the ice cream, followed by a 2:30 outdoor concert by the Pitman Hobo band, a very talented group in hobo costume. There's a charge for the ice cream and there's always some left over in bulk for anyone to buy to take home. No charge for the concert. I can't understand why I can't find anything about this event online.

Awesome visit! We went to a Twelveth Night holiday dessert and music event held in the Hancock house in the newly restored tavern room from Colonial Revolutionary period. We had such a great night and recommend going to learn about the homes history.

Nice place to eat your lunch at and learn a little about history.
