Nice beach
Beautiful lighthouse but during the covered pandemic there is nothing open besides the ability to take a photo of the lighthouse or ride the boat which happens only once in a couple hours. I would highly recommend that you ensure there is a boat ride around the time you were there
Very well ud83dudc4d kept. Worth the trip
A very peaceful place.
When I think of lighthouses, I picture a tall edifice on a point of land jutting out into water. What makes this lighthouse uniqe is that it's location is back from the shoreline ( actually surrounded by homes!) and is only about 44 feet tall. Literally a climb of 2 stairwells and a short climb up a ladder to reach the light. I didn't climb the ladder but was told the sunset was beautiful. The light is one of several that guide ships and boats along the NJ shoreline. Sea Girt Lighthouse is open for tours on Sunday afternoons.
