As others have said, it's a small place. But if you (or better yet, your kids) like BUGS, this place is great! My kids loved the ant colony and beehive. Being in this area, there are several place nearby to eat before or after visiting. Which, with kids, is a very good thing. The staff are friendly and the admission price isn't too steep. We visit when we come to NJ to visit friends in the Toms River area, so we stop by annually.

This is such a wonderful place with a great staff! My son and I love going in the morning and getting to do a meet and greet with the bugs! There are lots of activities and plenty to see! Great price too! Plenty of parking!

Fun spot, with *very* knowledgeable and friendly staff. A good mix of living animals in tanks and mounted displays. There's a short, narrated exhibition of live animals where you get to pet a millipede, a cockroach, a tarantula and a scorpion. Recommended for the bug-obsessed or even the mildly bug-interested. Great place to spend a couple of hours and learn a thing or three.
