Glassboro Police Department

So officer Scapellato (ID 9118) pulls me over by the landmark. I was cooperative and provided her with all my proper documents but she ignores my electronic copy of my insurance card. She gives me a ticket for a light out and tells me the ticket is for not having my insurance card. Last I checked electronic copies were acceptable. I was not aware of my light being out, there was no way I could've figure out the light was out on my own, nor did she bother to let me go with a warning. The officer was very rude and didn't even look me in the face as she gave me the ticket. She ignored my questions as she rushed back to her car to drive off, knowing she screwed me over. I don't know what these other good reviews are about with the police being good samaritans but I did not experience the same treatment, hopefully that's not due to me being African American. So just want to warn other drivers to be careful out here, Glassboro got some slimey cops.

I have a local business in Glassboro (plasma collection center) and the Glassboro Police Department is always super responsive to any issues. They even went out of their way to contact us when they noticed a delivered package left out overnight outside of our facility. I also always see them patrolling the shopping center we're in. This is an excellent, responsive and vigilant Police Department, and the Fire Department is also wonderful! Thank you, GBPD!

Great officers

Do not care about the safety of anyone. Only thing they care about is revenue for the department. Will do anything to issue a summons. Sad.

Not sure where the comments about them harassing and ticketing college students comes from because from what I can see you can park wherever whenever you want in addition to speeding and driving recklessly all over town without a cop to be found. They don't patrol like they use to that's for sure.
