I was here at the Millville Army and Airfield Museum as part of my job as Children's Librarian of Bridgeton Library. We've been doing on location story times for virtual viewing since we can't have any in-person programming due to covid. The lovely folks who work at MAAFM were kind, welcoming, gracious, generous, and informative. This is a do not miss museum. This place is incredible-it has so many interesting and authentic artifacts primarily from World War II and other wars that the US has fought in as well. In order to do this incredible museum and their wonderful displays some justice you need to come visit this place multiple times. I'd like to thank Lisa Jester and Joan Legg very much for their time, patience, informative interviews and heartfelt, eye-catching displays. The museum, especially Joan, has worked incredibly hard on linking the artifacts with actual people so you feel a real connection and backstory to a uniform or a kit or a picture. This makes the experience of coming to this museum more authentic and deeply enriching as you get to know the lives lived and sacrifices made. It's an incredible collection and I'm very happy to have had the chance to be there both as a librarian and as a museum and history lover. I am sure I will return again and again.

Part of my child hood.. I grew up out there by the airport.. And used to love riding bikes out there, and wander around and was always in awe of the museum... So much history!!! Great place!
