Emlen Physick Estate

The tour guides were really, good. (Barbara and Kathleen) Both were knowledgeable and definitely knew their history. The home has been beautifully restored by the Historical Society.nI highly recommend buying tickets for this tour. On the day we bought them, they were only $15 a piece, and that was for a 45 minute tour.

It was very educational and entertaining. The history of the owners and the fixtures in each rooms was very interesting. I hope they are able to get more grant money to do more renovations work to the house. It's a must see if you come for a visit.

Such a neat estate! The theme for tours this year is how they restored it over the last 50 years. It's quite an impressive feat and it's wonderful that someone in 1970 thought to rescue and preserve this property. Even though we're only here for a week, I purchased a membership for our family which has already paid for itself between the trolley ride and the Physick estate tour.

AL was the BEST guide! No doubt about it. We did hear some noises in the steps so whether they were humans or other??? What a beautiful piece of history and so grateful to have been a part of the experience this fabulous piece of history.

Highly recommend to anyone interested in history and some slightly spooky events. Great performances by all the cast involved telling the stories of the estate
