I went back to Alla after few years after few bad experiences. I was looking for a short hair cut and a major change during the COVID-19.nAlla took the time to look at some pictures and actually listened or better say heard me!nShe gave me a fab hair cut that does not need any maintenanceud83eudd17nI saw her again today with similar experience: clean trim with a chic modern style!!!nFar for me? Yes. Worth the effort? Absolutely.nShe is sweet, kind, skillful, accommodating, and fun to be around.

I have seen Alla for 12+ years for cuts and occasional highlights. Since she moved to Trio Salon some years ago, I have occasionally (3-4 times) visited other stylists, since they were closer. Sadly, every one was a bit of a disaster, which Alla remedied in subsequent visits. She has never criticized me nor even commented on my having visited another stylist and, again, has always “fixed” the rubbish cut I received from other stylists. Her prices are very reasonable and she has very rarely raised them. I have fine hair, though enough of it, and she always cuts/styles it to its best advantage. After the last rubbish cut (a few months ago), which she (today), again, brilliantly repaired, I will not visit another stylist, so long as I’m in Portland. I almost never write reviews, but, this one is LONG overdue as Alla is talented, receptive, and foresighted. Plus, she’s a great conversationalist AND the shampoo is soooo calming. In a word, for my needs, Alla’s the BEST!

Alla has been doing my hair for over 5 years and she is truly amazing!! She has gotten my hair platinum blonde with no breakage and I am constantly getting compliments on the color. I have used extensions here and there for extra volume and she’s done a great job at making sure it doesn’t compromise my own hair. I can’t recommend her enough, she is really good at what she does!!
