I love Anisa she is literally the very best. If you haven’t booked with her, highly suggest you do. I always get compliments on my nails and have been a returning customer for over a year now. She better not leave! Also, love the company of Randy sitting next to her, he’s a funny dude. Every time I’m in there it’s like hanging with friends and catching up. The nail salon is always very clean and so beautiful as well. Can’t wait for my next appointment!

Hi there, I've debated writing this for a while. I frequented the nail salon regularly in the past few years. I got regular fills and sets, and the occasional pedi. I love the little pup they have there, the place is cute and clean, location is easy to find. I would drive out there for their services from NE Portland.nThe reason for the 2 star review was how I was treated as a regular. I only saw the owner, Joann. At first she was nice and pleasant, but as she got comfortable with me she got less so. She seemed annoyed when I only wanted a simple fill and didn't want to spend $80-100 on a fill with all the bells and whistles. I over heard conversations about that regularly. She told me she would have to charge me more if I didn't learn to relax my hands(?), which was the first time I've heard that, also there are nicer ways to say please relax your hands. They charge for matte polish. I'm rough on my hands and sometimes lose a nail, she suggested I buy some nail glue, one of the those tiny Kiss bottles, since I didn't know any better she charged me $12 for one tiny bottle. I looked it up on amazon its $5 for 5 bottles. They ripped me off after I had been giving them business for over a year... Needless to say I've never gone back and have steered people away from their business.

They cancelled my appointments not once but twice. Even if you have a good reason this is not professional. Don’t reschedule if you not sure you can accommodate. I wouldn’t recommend this place if you are looking for professional place this is not it. Good luck.

After waiting 25 minutes I was told Ha wouldn't have time to do my nails, said they would discount my next appointment so make up for the wait. I go in for my next appointment, where she used the wrong powder so it didn't match up and she had to use a color polish to cover it up and THEN CHARGED ME $25.00 for it!! So I ended up paying over $70.00 for a simple fill that she BOTCHED!! They charge you whatever they feel at the time and you get a different quality of nails EACH time you go in!! Now she says I have to see another tech if I want my nails done there because she didn't like me calling her out on messing up my nails!! Do yourself a favor and go ANYWHERE ELSE!! Randy and his wife are the only people in there knowing what they are doing or care about the business!!

I have had my nails done consistently for 15 years and I have never had them botched like this or charged so much. I went in for a new set of acrylics mid sept so I could have them done for my birthday and *showed Randy a picture of what I wanted, normal coffin nails- he said okay. He proceeded to build the acrylic almost half an inch thick and then drill from under the nail so they stuck straight up,- rather than on top of the nail as standard procedure to cause a natural curve (I went to beauty school, what he did is not standard technique in any way, Ive never seen such a thing nor understand why anyone would do it). I brought it up to him but it was too late for him to make them look normal. He proceeded to charge me $73; I also tipped making them almost a $90 set of nails which is insane. I called once I got home and explained (very nicely) that I filed and soaked them all off due to the non-standard technique he personally used and how bad they looked and told him I would rather talk to him personally than publicly leave a bad review and asked for a refund due to not getting what I thought I was paying for and having to immediately remove them. He said he doesnt give refunds but will credit my account to come back at a later date once my nails have healed from just being ground down, to get them redone regularly. I said okay. It is now mid october and I feel semi safe getting them drilled down again to actually have my nails done like I wanted and am told I only have a $35 credit on my account to come back but they cant get me in for atleast a month. Even with a $35 credit, I'd be paying more (again) to have them done here than going to a new salon that values customer service and making their mistakes right and they cant do them for a MONTH?? Now they have called me back and said that due to me being unhappy with the customer service while not being refunded or the nail job being corrected, they do not want me to come back and will not be crediting or refunding me any money. I think I have left one bad review for a place ever but this is bad, do not give this salon your business. Attached is a pic of my nails when they did them (nude color), as well as a pic of them when done normally by a different salon in the past (red nails), for comparison.
