West Linn Police Department

The chief and two detectives cost this town 600 thousand dollars I wonder if they are still employed I bet they are maybe next time it will be a million keep paying those taxes citizens

Barely pursued thieves who stole my car (even neglecting to look at evidence sources from neighbors and local businesses), yet have plenty of time to enforce the petty things.

I don't understand how your department can get any worse, but it still does. Horrible and disgraceful.

Officer left me stranded in a parking lot at 1:23am. Didn't know my license was suspended cause gvnt mail doesn't forward, also didn't know that. Told me he was doing me a favor not towing my vehicle. Kept my ID, so now I am unable to go to work and am losing my job. He could have offered me a ride home. Instead, he abandoned me in a dangerous situation to fend for myself. My trust and faith in West Linn Police is shattered.

I have had my office in West Linn for a few years and I just recently moved my family there. I have to say West Linn’s approach to policing is refreshing. They’re never too busy to answer a question and you can tell they care about the community. All of my interactions have been positive and that includes having been pulled over (which I deserved). The officer explained to me kindly about the importance of wearing my seatbelt in a way that showed he cared about my well-being instead of being punitive.
