Haddon Heights Police Department

Obviously officers like or enjoy parking in driveways . As I approach necessary establishments to access total use of driveways, parked officers refuse to grant operation space. However N S E or W, I only need to deal with HH for about 2 minutes passing thru when business stop is not a priority.

None Yall and every other person who claims to have a bad encounter with police, just remember that they put there lives at risk every day to protect some they do not know. I respect the badge and so should you

I am extremely disappointed in the actions of the Haddon Heights Police Department. My husband was picking up our Freshman from school on June 7th along with many other parents. He was parked on 1st Avenue and as all are aware there is no parking since the teachers and students with cars take up all available parking (rightly so). My husband never left the vehicle and as soon as our son came out they left. Imagine our surprise when a ticket for $35.00 arrived in the mail for illegal parking. My husband saw the police office drive by twice but not once did the officer say anything to him or any of the other parents parked on the street waiting for their children. This is my 2nd child going through the high school and I have never heard of this happening until now. i have been told that one parent went to court to fight the ticket and won but now my husband needs to miss a day of work to fight this ridiculous ticket? I have always been a proud resident of Barrington and the fact that our Children go to wonderful High School. Is the Haddon Heights Police Department so desperate for money that they have been reduced to this? Needless to say I will no longer be supporting the Heights Police Department and the $35.00 check I will be sending them will be last dime they receive from us. Their procedures really need to be reviewed and Officer Whitman needs to learn communicate with the residents. If he had said anything, my husband would have gladly moved as would the other parents who received tickets in the mail. SHAME ON YOU!!!!

Most are gentlemen and can handle themselves , but there are a few with '' badge mussels '' who act tough but could not fight there way out of a paper bag
