My car was broken in to non emergency nothing was stolen but couldn't get a hold of the dept so I couldn't make a report due to they can't be contacted and not calling 911 for something that could be taking care of without making a scene for something so basic.
Belen police are very corrupt not very professional and profile people, they are afraid of the drug dealers, druggies and thieves in Belen so they go out and give bogus tickets to good citizens...Also they work with County Towing, the Worst towing company in Valencia County who will do everything to try and keep your vehicles for their profits, when you can't even trust a cop it's BAD!!!!!! I also haven't seen one good thing come from the Mayor of Belen when it comes to doing good for the citizens of Belen!!!!! I am sure I will be on their hit list for my review, I will have to be on high alert while driving around Belen, I have already got word they are on the look out for me to give me any vehicle violations even up to framing me for something because they are pissed with me!!!
Dear Sir. I live on the other side of the world in Australia. We see lots of crazy police situations where unarmed people are shot for what appears to be a non life threatening situation.
I was so pleased to see a video just now showing your officers handling a...dangerous but non life threatening situation with restraint and understanding. In fact I would say it was handled perfectly. Excellent work guys. Cheers.
Most unhelpful "help" desk ever, calling the nonemergency number was much worthless as I was twice xferred to numbers that just rang endlessly until it went back to help desk who then lifted handset and hungup.
From what I have witnessed and experienced with Belen PD, I have to say, They need more training and some of then should not still be working with them. Beginning of April an Officer used unnecessary force and pushed a young man's head thru my window, all because officer had to run a little. Now last night, my friend and I were hanging out outside, i decided to step inside for a moment and next thing i know i hear cops running after someone , i look out and my friend is walking towards my door , officer calls him someone elses name then roughens him up and arrested him..... What the hell????? They dont even know who they mess with. They mistaken people for others. They get upset when they have to work a little harder or run. I believe they have abused others physically, all because they actually had to do jobs, I have witnessed with my own eyes. I never had a problem with law inforcement, but lately bow i see that they abuse the privilege wearing that badge. .. They say they want a change , well we should start with them and see what a difference it makes.
