Burlington Township Police Department

Went to the police station today to ask questions regarding an issue with registration it was about 3:30pm I did not get the officer name but he was very friendly and quick to help. He came from behind the glass to address my questions and answered all my questions. Pretty cool. Station is clean as well.

I have parked overtime, illegally, stopped illegally and operated my vehicle slightly irregular and have never received a summons. My age and handicap have made me vulnerable to police summonsing actions. I have not rated 5*, not because the dept. is not deserving but because the twp is safely protected that my infractions, though they are, should not be concerned criminally if no one suffered physical concerns and I will seriously try to maintain my composure should an officer approach me with a summons cautioning me to obey the sign of law.

Pulled out of my vehicle and searched for 0 reason I was told he wanted to show his partner , great waste of taxpayer dollars .

The responding officer was not very nice to me,he didn't even want to listen to my side of the story. He took their side. Wasn't fair. Only proves to me that cops don't care. Let his money get stolen,I'm sure it'll be a different outcome.

When I asked Officer Thibert why he pulled me over he said my license plate bulb was out. But when I got out of the car to be searched by the female officer who arrived after I was stopped, I realized both of my bulbs were lit. I did have a warrant for a court date I missed so I was taken to the station where Officer Thibert, for some reason, had to re search me while no one else was present. I felt very uncomfortable and nervous instead of safe and protected. After being RORed, Thibert brought me back to where my car was. I was waiting in my car for someone to come get my car and multiple officers continued to circle around the parking lot for about 20 mins. I feel like I was treated extremely unfair and taken advantage of. So disappointed in this department.
