Lumberton Twp Police Department

Filed a complaint against another driver for tailgating me and throwing something at my car. Complaint was denied bye the court's. Nice to know that people get away with dangerous driving and reckless behavior in that town. Stay away from the area people, the justice system is obviously just as ignorant as the people who there.

I appreciate you finally listening to concerns about Bryan Freeman Park. Random police presence is going to make a difference for this entire community. Kids really enjoyed the police getting in on a game. Thank you and please continue.

On December 8th i arrived by vehicle at South Jersey Regional Airport for a chartered flight within minutes before I could even exit my vehicle staff at the airport called 911 and reported a suspicious black man in a parking lot, mind you this was during normal business hours at the airport shortly after Lumberton PD arrived to investigate Unfortunately I didn't get the officers names however there was a young white male officer Who sorted the situation out. And said I was free to go on my way. The young white officer was utterly professional and handled the situation correctly and I thank him for his professionalism. However shortly after his Black counterpart officer became involved in the situation, after it was resolved by his partner he was attempting provoke mento do something so he could detain or arrest me. I understand the job has a lot of pressure especially for a black officer sometimes you may feel that you have to impress your white counterparts by being extra hard on black folks . But that's not being professional nor are you upholding the law. Your conduct is completely shameful , You are an embarrassment not only to yourself but the black community , your department and most of all your family. I understand you want show your other white officers that you're one of them however you always will be Black no matter how much it sickens you. So your efforts are truly in vain .You add to the tension between police and the black community. Hopefully your chief can read this and send you for some additional sensitivity training which you desperately need. And to the white officer thank you for your professionalism If the black officer would have been alone , i feel this situation would have ended negatively with me being arrested or possibly injured. You are whats wrong with policing.

Our police force are involved with the community and many live here. We can count on them to do their best every day and night to keep us safe. Wonderful to live in Lumberton and sleep well at night.

Handcuffs were a little too tight when they put them on, also no cushions in the back of the patrol car, very rude officers who did not want to play tag when i ran away, overall poor experience and prefer different counties.
