I didn't want to leave this place , it should be mandatory for every kid in Jersey to take a class trip to this place and learn about one of the greatest people that ever lived. This famous NJ doctor cured people of cancer in the 1800s and was self taught. Why don't they teach our children about this man in our schools at least? NJ should be helping this site more with funding as well. The doctors family is doing an amazing job of preserving this man's legacy , they run the museum, Im sure he's very proud of them for protecting their ancestry.
I currently volunteer there and there's a rich family history. Come on out when it is open. It is open on the first and third Sunday of the month from 1-4 PM.
Educational experience, it is really nice learning about old medical practices and the underground railroad
Dr. James Still Historic Site and Education Center open 1st and 3rd Sundays starting February 2019 from 1 to 4 pm.
