My experience with the Retreat has been amazing the office staff has made my move in easy and welcoming. Maintenance has been quick and responsive. Grounds are beautiful and well maintained. I highly recommend!!

When I first moved in I was allowed to have a grill on my deck. I spent $800 on a nice one and now I am told I'm no longer allowed to have it there. I have no room to put it anywhere else so I am forced to get rid of it and take a loss.nnFurthermore, on nights and weekends the clubhouse is over ran with people that do not live at the retreat constantly.nnI signed a year lease that ends in a month and I have been told that my rent will be going up another few hundred dollars a month.nnElectric bills in the winter range anywhere from $250 to $400nnThe common area around the grills is over ran with mosquitoes and fleas (from animals) now that summer is herennThe pool and hot tub was closed down for a few months and not accessible and the pool heater is constantly not working so the pool is very cold.

The insulation does not hold up in the winter. I had space heaters in my sons room and struggled to get the temperature over 55 degrees at night. If someone lives above you. The ceiling is thinner than an actual house. I could hear everything, including a phone vibrating on a table for example. They even slapped me with a huge bill for no reason after leaving. Claiming I ruined carpet. I have never had an issue receiving my security deposit back. This place sucks with it's fake luxury gimmick. Junk.
