Ocean City Police Department

This summer my nephew locked the house bike on the boardwalk and then lost the keys at the beach. The next day I called the non emergency number and asked if they could help. After a few minutes, a very professional looking squared away 6.3 Sgt. drove up in an SUV and cut the lock. We exchanged a few pleasantries and then he went on his way. I appreciated that they could take the time for a non emergency that saved us from buying a $40 dollar bolt cutter.

This justice department is a joke. They have nothing better to do and one of the officers literally said “we have nothing better to do” while they pulled someone over for no real reason. A bunch of rent a cops that power trip. No intelligent person wants to be a cop and it’s extremely apparent with the ocean city police department.

Love Ocean City. Thanks to all those who make this a great, safe and beautiful place to visit. I have been coming to OCNJ for 50+ years and it is by far the safest, cleanest and most family friendly resort on the east coast! Thank you to all those men and women of Ocean City's finest that serve to keep it that way!!

Literally the worst police force I've ever dealt with. Very rude to say the least. Most officers feel as if they are hot shots and everyone else is to bow down to them. Ive dealt with Sea Isle, EHT, and Galloway police before all very respectful and understanding... If most of the OC police offers were not in uniform, i would feel zero sympathy nor respect for them. The lowest of the low police force. No wonder I have no family/friends working for them.... And the Johnny Sins look-a-like can go screw himself. I should of dusted your ass in front of your police force... but i have respect. Unlike you.
