Richland General Store

They had a good selection and variety of items throughout the store.nI was able to get exactly what I needed, but the employees did not seem to have that Old Country Store atmosphere that you look for in this type of store. I don't know if they are new owners or not but I've been in there before a while back and I truly felt like they wanted to help me, not so this time. It's not around the corner for me, and I hate big box stores, I like to support the Local Entrepreneur and I use to enjoy taking the occasional drive to go there, but after this last visit, I will have to actually need something that I can't find elsewhere to return.nHopefully you will have a better experience.

Everyone should be as lucky as the locals in Richland, NJ., to have a gem as a hardware store in their own town. The owners take great pride in their business and treat their customers like family. They will help you with any project that you are trying to complete. They even carry pet products.

Awesome place, very knowledgeable. Has just about everything. You can even find home brewing ingredients and equipment.

Never been here before and honestly didn't know it existed until we did a Google search for hardware stores near us. We were pleasantly surprised as they have a little bit of everything needed to complete various projects and repairs around the house. Obviously some prices are a little higher than your big box stores but supporting local businesses has become more important to us then saving a few pennies. Friendly and helpful staff. Had it not been for the whole Covid mask madness, we could have easily spent several hours there exploring each and every aisle. It was like taking a step back in time. We will definitely be back!!

Outstanding good old fashioned hardware store! Friendly knowledgeable staff. And everything you could ever need! Wish it was in my neighborhood. Makes Ace and True Value look like junk stores!
