My family and I had a wonderful time. Plenty of things to see and learn. Lots of craft vendors as well.
Nice site and great cabins . But the reenactors on site for the most part done have a clue. The blacksmith couldn't.answer but the simplest questions.. The site isn't handicapped accessible . steps,and very tight quarters. Only one place to wash your hands and it was a handicap bathroom inside . Porta johns outside but not one sink. I like to wash up after using a restroom and before eating. Portable hand wash.stations need to be available.
So she breakfast is good the clean the rooms magnificently very clenly very comfortable
Great place to experience the early life of Saxon Lutherans from the 1800's. Many buildings with artifacts from the area.
Great to see and learn about the roots of the LCMS church
