There is so much cool stuff to see! If you have an older child who is interested in history this is a great place to take them! Our daughter loves it so much we will be going for the 4th time soon.
It's much bigger than it appears. Really nice exhibits on the history of the area. We all loved it!
Outside the Museum you can step inside an 1860's log cabin and view a slave cabin. Inside the Museum there are 6,000 square feet of exhibits, including an Audio-Visual Center and research library. Open from mid-May to mid-October on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday from 10 to 4.
Great place to visit, so much history there
