This place will not cut a 2yr old’s hair because he would not wear a mask. Even though the CDC does NOT recommend ages 2 and under to wear a mask.nnI explained to the hairstylist that the CDC does not require my son to wear a mask because of his age. And she replied with attitude that it don’t matter and their place requires for everyone to wear a mask.nnI hope they don’t treat people with special needs like this. Especially if they cannot wear a mask.

My regular stylist is no longer available, so I'm looking for a new place to go and decided to try Great Clips in Warrensburg. I don't go into a salon for a social experience, but I got my hair cut this morning from the unfriendliest woman I have ever met. She never smiled once, never said one word except asking how I wanted it cut. And despite Great Clips' insistence on wearing masks, she had hers over her mouth but pulled down off the nose. As a high risk person, I did not appreciate her cavalier attitude about safety. There are way too many hair places in this town to have this kind of experience - will not be back.

I went in this past weekend. My husband and son were both needing haircuts. My husband and myself wore masks like we always do but my son is under two so he doesn’t wear a mask in compliance with the CDC guidelines which states a child under two should never wear one. We were told by the stylists there that it doesn’t matter what the county ordinance or CDC says - that their store policy is everyone must wear a mask. I called the Great Clips customer service and they said that they are supposed to go with the suggested CDC guidelines and they would have the store owner contact me. I understand wanting to protect your people and we were complying with all regulations set forth by the CDC. I guess I want to know why your guidelines require even children under two to wear a mask when it has been deemed unsafe by medical professionals? I was not happy. We’re all just trying to get through this mess and here this company or store specifically, is making it even harder.

I honestly got a better haircut from an 18 year old in a public bathroom. At least that one was free. As it turns out I do have standards, and this place doesn't cut it.
