Tickets are more expensive than any other local city and cops are incredibly rude. Never heard anything good about them or had a single good experience.
I unfortunately had a domestic issue with family and the officers that responded were awesome .They treated us very professionally and they were even empathetic when they didn't have to be. My 2 year old son loves police cars and they even turned the lights on for him just to make him smile. Officer Stivers has since made contact to make sure everything was okay and he was just extremely polite and non judgemental. I'd like to thank the entire department for making sure that me and my family are safe. They've never harassed or pulled me over for any silly reason. They get a bad rep but I really appreciated them. Especially because the night they were here they left to respond to the SIXTH overdose of the night. As a community we need to try and support our police department because we live in a small enough town that if we work together we can have a real positive ongoing relationship. They are OUR police. Try and support them and they will support us.
well first off if you have to call them for any reason or encounter them in any way make sure you are recording everything that is said and done. Recently had to call them because of an assault and they stated things were said and done in the report that we're not said or done. They are a bunch of liars and a big joke to the community. It's a shame they don't take being a police officer seriously
Another place that doesn't deserve 1 star. Had a cop give me ticket for expired plates that were not expired. Tool 2 trips to court before it was dismissed.
