I got my haircut here last year, my stylist was very nice and she did a very good job. I came in with long super damaged hair. They offered to put a treatment on it to help before chopping it all off but didn't tell me how much it would bump up the price. I had only brought 80 dollars (Im a high school student) because I had seen on the website that haircuts were 75. I don't remember exactly but I remember them telling me that the total was like 200 or something like that. I couldnt pay, ud83eudd37ud83cudffb‍♀ufe0f I didnt have that much. My haircut was great and the stylists were very sweet. I would just recommend to ask about prices when a stylist offers to do something extra. They were very nice about that fact that I couldn't pay full price.

The owner didn’t seem very friendly at all. I thought she was but she had argued with me about why my hair didn’t come out to a medium brown tint when the stylist and I have agreed to bump my roots up to a level 6 medium brown. She was pretty rude over the phone when I tried to come back in and get it done. I have specifically told my stylist that I DO NOT like my hair dark. Even when I was leaving the salon that day I got my hair done, I asked the stylist why my roots are still dark, what she used for my formula and if we can lift it lighter the next time I come back in and even she got offended and was arguing with me too! WTH! I didn’t want to be rude and sit there and complain to her that day so I left and planned on coming back few weeks later to get it the way I wanted the “lighter brown” after my scalp calms down from it being so sensitive and and burnt from the blow dryer being so damn close to my scalp! If anyone wants to see a true level 6 medium brown please do not use 10 vol if you have natural level 2 dark black hair because it’s not going to do a damn thing. What’s there to argue with me about? As a business owner you would think she’d be a lot nicer and even “act” as if she was sincerely apologizing even just a little bit but instead she was arguing with me on the phone and just didn’t seem like she cared for my business very much (maybe because I’m a stylist who comes from a different salon? I don’t know) and tried to make it seem like I wasn’t clear about the color I wanted when I was VERY clear. And I’m not even going to start with some of the brassy highlights I left with that could have been easily fixed right after the first session but they just didn’t fully care about my hair. Seriously, I am very disappointed and wished I didn’t have to go this far to right a bad review. As a fellow hairstylist try to be a bit more friendly and not tell me you know it all because you’ve been doing hair for so and so years and making fun of me to your employee. I hope that they can learn that the stylist are not always right and sometimes we make mistakes too and if and when you do, the best thing to do is to own up to it and keep the great customer service we should be giving to our clients wether they are stylist or not.

I've gotten my hair cut here several times! i love this place. I got hair extension here once too, they were very informative on where I should get them from, how to take care of them and how to remove them when I was ready! (granted the extensions them selves where bonded ones) It was great! they are always so friendly here!

I was able to arrange for my daughter, Charlotte, to have her hair styled for her 5th grade party at Jim Hill with little notice. They accommodated me with with enthusiasm and offered to take photos for me as I am out of town on business. As a matter of fact, my daughter is in the chair now on 5/4/18. Thank you to Alecia and staff!! Highly recommended!
