Such a neat place! Like a little abandoned town created to be art. Lots of great photo opportunities. My kids love exploring the town and posing for different pictures.
A hidden gem!! No idea it was there. Belle Starr's original home is there as is the home of the Dalton Gang. The history in this little arts town is wonderful and Mr. DAVIS ART is perfect and lively. What a great stop this was plan on at least an hour...but take more
One of America's last true icons, Lowell Davis built Red Oak ll to be a quaint representation of his childhood hometown...Red Oak Missouri.nLowell was often referred to as the Norman Rockwell of the rural folk. His artwork is so typical farm life in the heartland, and his stories are so funny....nI am truly honored that Lowell Davis did so much of the artwork on my distilled spirits. Lowell designed my sign and gates to Missouri Ridge Distillery......nThank you for sharing your amazing talent with the world, and Thank You does not begin to cover my appreciation for all that you have done for me and my business.....nCheers to you !!nAnd cheers to all those who have made Red Oak ll a favorite visiting spot in Western Missouri....!!!
Very surreal, in a good way. We didn’t know what to expect and we found Red Oak II completely empty, giving us total freedom to roam and explore. The place is basically a recreated town, an open air museum of sorts. Wonderful fun!
Love this place I grow up there with rose and her hubby and love it there
