This used to be a great cleaners. Staff is still nice, but the new ownership has decreased the service to an unacceptable level. Items are rarely done in time and I have to steam or re-iron shirts before wearing due to wrinkles and poor work. Unfortunately this owner owns all the cleaners in Joplin and customers have no choice. Two stars instead of one because of the great people who work at the shop.

Took a skirt to get altered (needed a new zipper). The alterations office was locked so I went next door to the cleaners. Was told she was out to lunch. They take my skirt and I leave it, thinking they will replace the zipper (they’ve done this before for me) but ca me back 2 hours later to say they can’t replace it. I go get it and the skirt is over at the dry cleaners, so I get it back and the lady tells me she’s not an alterer and I said I know I left it for the ladies next door. She reads their note that they cannot replace the zipper cause of how it’s made? Seriously! You do alterations but can’t replace a zipper? Probably won’t be back there!

I went to southtown cleaners and alterations so i guess they work togeather in the strip mall there.Anyways i had a Black shirt ripped no buttons.nI picked it up when i got home it was like new all new buttons and the rip they repaired i could not even see it.Beautiful work.nI will be back and tell all my friends.
